MSUM Candidate is inspired by Students
Amelia Bixby is an MSUM teacher education candidate majoring in elementary inclusive education with a special education minor. During her fall 2015 field experience at Jefferson Elementary School in Fargo, Amelia felt really inspired by all of the children in her first grade classroom. “They really helped me know that I am going into the right career!”
The cooperating teachers gave Amelia many opportunities to practice teaching in their classrooms and were very motivating. “If you’re thinking about this career,” Amelia said, “just try it. Chances are you will fall in love with it!”
